Maxim Viktorov

Born in Moscow on the 22nd of June 1972. Graduated magna cum laude from the Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, Law Department. From 1989 till 1990 was an officer of the Investigative Division of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the RSFSR. From 1991 till 1992 military service in KGB USSR And Federal Agency for Government Communications and Information. From 1992 till 1996 worked as Legal Assistant to the Chairman of the Moscow Region Government. In February 1998 was appointed the Executive Secretary of the Council for Banks and Bankir under the Governor of the Moscow Region. In 1998 was elected Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Regional election commission by the Governor of the Moscow Region. From 2000 till 2003 - member of the Commission of the Expert and Advisory Council for National Security Issues of the Federal Assembly - Parliament of the Russian Federation. From 2005 till 2008 - Deputy Chairman of the Expert Council for Mass Communications under the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. From 2006 - member of the Foundation of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent. Chairman of the Board of the Investment Program Foundation. Since 2006 - member of the Board of Trustees of the Moscow Suvorov Military School. From 2007 till 2009 is a member of the Board of Trustees of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. From 2009 - member of the Public Committee for Promotion of Russian Libraries.From 2009 - Chairman of "Union Magazine" Editorial Board. Has state and public awards.
